Are agricultural operations exempt?

Agricultural operations are exempt if such operation is covered by, and conducted in conformance with (1) a Conservation Farm Management Plan that includes best management practices, approved by the Loudoun County Soil and Water Conservation District or the U.S. Natural Resources and Conservation Service; and (2) a Nutrient Management Plan approved by the Loudoun County Soil and Water Conservation District. However, structures associated with agricultural operations which are 720 square feet or greater are not exempt from the LOD regulations.
