Are admissions interviews required?
We do not offer formal admissions interviews because of the number of applications we receive annually. However, many freshman applicants will be contacted by an alum in their area four to six weeks after submission of the Common Application. Note: this meeting is not evaluative; it is an opportunity for you to meet someone who spent his or her undergraduate years at Cornell so that you can learn how the experience has affected his or her life and career.
