Are Academic Intervention Services (AIS) in science required for low-performing students?
Commissioners Regulations require the provision of AIS in grades 4 12 based on students performance on elementary, intermediate, or graduation examinations, no later than the beginning of the semester following a determination that a student needs such services [100.2(ee)].
