Petsmart doesn’t know to take care of their fish…well if they have high temperatures for goldfish and you plan on doing the same then you are no better than those fools…their tanks have fin rot and almost all their fish are diseased…why do you think that is the case??..that is because they are silly…now are you saying you want your fish to be that way too???I am sure not…so please dont mix goldfish with danios…it will stress the goldfish trying to catch up with danios…and danios will chase the goldy which will ultimately stress out your goldy…also high temperatures make the goldies susceptible to diseases…

Just because Petsmart does something doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. Goldfish are much healthier and live longer at cooler teperatures. Danios are pretty hardy but I would be concerned about them chasing a goldfish. There really isn’t any fish that is compatible with goldfish.

In my experience, zebra’s are fine in cooler waters and they happen to get along fine with goldfish.
