Are 1999 eclipse gsx good racing cars?
As mentioned, DSM’s are known for cheap power. They’re the foxbody Mustang’s of the import world. For drag-racing, the AWD will beat just about anything off the line. For road racing, the high-revving engine and wide powerband make them great cars. The aftermarket is huge and the DSM community is very helpful. I’ve had my 95 GSX for several years and invested over 10k dollars into it, with more to go. I’m never giving it up. It’ll either burn to the ground or be buried with me.
