Topics covered included health impacts and costs, mercury, the science of global warming, the economic impacts of global warming, the increasing cost of coal plants, and Cheaper, Cleaner, and Cooler alternatives to coal plants. Speakers included: Eric Barron, Ph.D. – Dean, Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas at Austin Steve Clemmer – Research Director, Union of Concerned Scientists, Washington, DC presentation.
