Apr 97 The part number on the face of my OSR2 CD is 000-37080. What does that mean?

This is the OSR1 part number, but some of these CDROMs, labelled like OSR1, actually contain OSR2. These CDs are rare, and seem to be shipped only with some Gateway models. In other words, these CDs are mis-labelled. My copy reports the version info stated above, but the face of the CD looks different! You probably have a copy of the Microsoft Beta Tester’s final release of OSR2, or the MSDN version, or a counterfeit.
