Free bus travel is now available to people aged 60 and over and eligible disabled people in South Ribble. As from April 2008, a South Ribble concessionary travel pass holder will also be able to travel free of charge on any Local bus service anywhere in England (not valid in Scotland or Wales). PLUS – South Ribble pass holders will also be able to travel free of charge on trams in both Blackpool and Wyre and on the Fleetwood to Knott End Ferry Service. N.B. Free travel is not available on long distance express bus services such as Preston to London. The express bus service companies do provide discounts to concessionary pass holders. You should contact the relevant operator for details.
