Author: Guru Chaturvedi (http://www.jguru.com/guru/viewbio.jsp?EID=1314154), Sep 26, 2006Web Servers are those that can handle HTTP requests and host content that can be published to HTTP. If the the web server has capability to deligate requests to other small components/processes and then deliver the final results to client then such a setup is CGI. Is it that the way WebLogic, WebSphere or JBOss work has made us to think or in fact get confused between AppServer/WebServer?
