Apple 23″ Cinema Display Vs. Dell 24″ Display?
I’m thinking of buying one of these and I’m having a really hard time making a decision. The Apple looks way better, and, well, it’s from Apple. But the Cinema Display has had a lot of reports of yellow edges and dim blue bands down the center. All the web sites I found so far comparing the two preferred the Dell. The Apple forums have lots of posts about concerns with the Cinema Display, with people getting discoloration. My local Apple store will let me return a monitor for up to 14 days, but there are reports on the Apple forums of discoloration taking a month to show up. Apple 23″ Cinema Display, versus Dell 24″ Display: what are the latest thoughts on this?
