The appcert script works with either version 4 or 5 of Perl. Perl 5 is included in Solaris 8. Binaries for previous release of Solaris can be found at www.sunfreeware.com. You can also download the source for Perl, and the pre-compiled binaries for some platforms, from any site in the Comprehensive Perl Archive Network (CPAN).
