Anything to buy with a pistol?
Yes – first and foremost – lessons at the local range on shooting, safety, maintenance, etc. If you express interest when you buy some stores will throw this in for free (another advantage of buying at a store with an indoor range). Ask what they recommend for cleaning your weapon and be sure to buy it. Check how many magazines come with your weapon. Make sure you leave with three FACTORY full capacity magazines. Again, you may be able to negotiate them throwing in a few used factory magazines with your purchase. If the gun does not come with a carrying case, buy one (almost all will). Finally, get some ammunition. For personal defense I recommend Speer Gold Dot. For practice, I like CCI, Sellior & Bellot, or white-box Winchester. BE SAFE AND HAVE FUN!
