Anyone live near chambersburg pa and letterkenny army depot?
Hi! My cousin’s husband was at the Carlisle Amy facility, that isn’t too far from Chamberburg. They loved the area. There should be housing that you can afford, don’t look up near Harrisburg itself. I would recommend it for raising children, no beaches nearby( ) but there are swimming pools and lake areas withing driving range. Not sure about the schools, but my cousin’s children went to school the area and they were happy with it. I live about an hour away in Lancaster, Pa. and have fallen in love with the area. If you like camping and such then the area is for you. Go on line and look up the area and the chamber of commerce. It sure is beautiful here in the Fall. As for the people, they are nice, not pushy and will keep to themselves, friendly if you are. In other words, like people every where, they are what you are like. GOOD LUCK.
