Anyone know of an EXCELLENT carp bait?
Corn, Hotdogs, or anything junk-food like. Carp are bottom-feeders, and they pretty much guzzle anything. I usually use hotdogs. Have also caught them on worms, but that wasn’t what I was fishing for. Don’t forget to use a sit-on-the-bottom rig, similar to a jig, or if you are using the bobber method, make sure the bait is at least possible close to the bottom. Also, if you see them near the top of the river, that means they’re sunning themselves, and they’re probably not hungry anyway.
