Anyone know a way to clean non-colorfast felt on vintage Christmas Ornaments?

I need to clean up some old vintage Pixies. However, they all have at least 2 different colors of felt used to make them, of course it’s all noncolorfast. Is there an easy way to clean them, without having the colors run into each other or doing damage to the felt itself? A: about the best you are going to be able to do with felt is brush it with a stiff brush. There’s no way to make non-colorfast material (which felt definitely is) into colorfast material. Just hope the ornaments age gracefully.
