Borrow a really big dog, if your dog was actually in the garden the fox wouldn’t come into it. It’s after your rabbits, or it’s getting something to eat nearby. I used to have them when I lived in a flat, a mother and 2 cubs, they didn’t bother me because we didn’t use the garden much, but they are noisy and they stink. Since you are awake anyway, get up, put the dog into the garden, go outside yourself, basically annoy them so they go into someone else’s garden instead.

Human Urine (or urine of a natural predator) may well work…. And hence comments about the edges of your garden! Ultrasonic pest reppellers are available from some DIY stores, and work in some cases. Foxes tend to stick to a pattern of hunting in rural areas….. Break the pattern….. Make your garden ‘Off Limits’ to the fox! Maybe try using a noiesy firework to scare it of, but don’t repeat this every visit the fox makes….. eventually it will doubt it’s safety in your garden and move on to rumage else where! I like foxes, love to spot them in the night, but, yes they can make one hell of a noise!!!!!! Hope this Helps!
