Anybody develop placenta accreta after a c-section?

I had an emergency c-section with my last pregnancy and am now pregnant again with #3. My obgyn told me that my risk for the placenta growing over and into my c-section scar is higher than normal, especially if I have an anterior placenta. I’m looking for stories or comments from other women who’ve experienced this, to get an idea of how common it is. Thanks for sharing!!
