Any tips for working with SourceForge?
• The SourceForge staff maintains an official document on using TortoiseCVS with SourceForge here. • There is a detailed article available in the User Guide. • Alistair Bayley has contributed this explanation. • The following question explains how to use SourceForge without having to type in the password every time you do something. • If you get an error saying something like “Could not chdir to home directory /home/users/r/rd/rdonkin: No such file or directory” then you need to log into the server with SSH to force creation of your home directory. Do this by connecting to username@cvs.projectname.sf.net either with PuTTY or a command line SSH.
