Any tips for driving to London?
Driving into London can be confusing even for the natives at times. Try to make sure you have a street map of London with your apartment clearly marked, and possibly your intended route. Unfortunately we have found that most people do get lost, delayed, or stuck in traffic, and so then arrive much later than anticipated so please do make sure you tell us a realistic arrival time. You will find a useful route planner at the Automobile Association’s website – www.theaa.com/travelwatch. Please be aware that Central London has a congestion charge. This covers most of Central London and costs ?8.00 per day. It covers drivers in the Congestion zone between 7am and 6:00 pm Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays.
