Any tips for brushing babies teeth?
My daughter is 16 months old and was the same way. We sing a little song and make sound effects, and now when I say “lets brush our teeth”, she heads for the bathroom making the sound. It’s very cute. Not to say she “lets” me brush her teeth. In her struggle for independence, she fights it. I sit her on the bathroom counter (there is a wall beside her and behind her) and give her the toothbrush. While she’s brushing her teeth, I do her hair. Then I quickly take a second toothbrush and “help” her. We do this three times a day. It works okay. Good luck! Oh, and I also brush my teeth with her so she sees me doing it regularly.
