Any plans to support standard interfaces (CMIS, JCR and the like)?
See above. We’d like to offer some way to support CMIS in the near future, JCR is less interesting to us. At the origin of the Lily project, we investigated JCR in depth to see if it was possible to build a cloud-scalable JCR repository. Since that seemed a rather daunting undertaking, even for the usual suspects, we decided to differentiate else-wise by opting for a lower-level repo model but going fully distributable.
