Any homeschooling families here that do NOT homeschool for religious reasons?

I think there are just as many family that homeschool for other reasons as for religious reasons. Even those that are religious don’t always homeschool for religious reasons. We are Christian but the reasons we homeschool have nothing to do with our beliefs. As for being active and social we do things like fencing, swimming, film school, field trips with other homeschoolers, skiing, snowboarding, tours, classes, put on plays and musicals with other homeschoolers, etc. There is so much to do that it’s tough to stay home some weeks. These all include homeschoolers from every walk of life and age group. We rarely sit at home and do nothing. We’ve been homeschooling for 5 years now and love it.
