Wishlist: • Add send-charset to the list of options that can be configurable per role, or allow to input a separate send-charset before sending a message. The latter could be possible by turning the send-charset option into a list and add Eduardo Chappa’s Reply Menu Patch to jump thru the list of alternate send-charsets. I guess this could be also extended to the send menu when looking at Eduardo Chappa’s patch. In the latest inofficial prerelease pine, there exists a function called choose_item_from_list which allows the user to choose a single item from a list of strings. Apparenty it opens a new screen for this, it should be possible to “pick” the charset from a list of configurable strings.
