ans 7 I have digital service. Why do pieces or blocks of my digital picture disappear occasionally?
This loss of parts of the picture on digital service is caused by loss of packets of digital information coming to your digital receiver. These disappearing blocks will contain just “garbage” or will appear black. The losses of these digitalpackets can be for a variety of reasons, bad connections inside the house, bad connections in the cable system, bad weather affecting the signal fromthe satellites in space, sun spot activity, or excessive unwanted “noise” getting into the cable system. These problems will usually correct themselves or can be corrected by tightening the cable connections in the house.. If they do not correct themselves, contact Glacier Club Cable TV at 382-6789 to report the problem. If this occurs during periods of severe weather, please wait until the weather improves to see if the problem goes away.
