Hi Bob! Many thanks for your speedy reply! I have read the links and found some interesting stuff as you suggested. I also contacted someone else, who, like you suggested, said that this is normal behaviour: they don’t have the “vertical” requirements of saltwater — and esp. giant — clams. So, I’ll keep an eye on him but he sees to be still fine, in his new orientation 😉 Cheers, Ed Bradburn
