Annual Workshops on Biosafety – Do I need to attend one?

0

The Biosafety Committee runs a workshop early each year in order to update academics, honours and postgraduate students and technical staff on changes to legislation, external agency and Biosafety Committee policies, procedures and requirements. From February 2001 attendance at one of these workshops was part of the criteria the Biosafety Committee used to assess applicants’ competence to adequately address any biosafety issues likely to be raised in the conduct of the applicants’ research or teaching demonstration.
