The Daily Allowance Rate is daily subsistence cost for staff or experts performing missions in the project implementation, requiring an overnight stay away from the base of operations., provided that these costs do not exceed those normally borne by the applicant organisation. This rate is intended to cover accommodation, meals and expenses like for example tips, laundry, toiletries, buses and taxis. Any flat rate reimbursement must not exceed the maximum scales approved by the EC.
