An employee, who was on approved long-term disability returned to work part-time, modified duty. Do I reinstate the optional LTD coverage?
No. The employee is not required to pay premiums until the employee returns to his or her pre-disability work schedule. Premiums are reinstated the first of the month following the employee’s return to his or her pre-disability work schedule unless a claim is denied or closed by Standard Insurance Company.
