Every wine, represented by an agent, offered on the Province of Ontario has a built in markup included in the price. By law, the Consignment agents markup which, in essence amounts to our pre-expenses (gross) profit margin should appear on the invoice. Every effort is made to keep these margins to a minimum to ensure that our client gets the best price possible. Back to top How do I preserve an open bottle of wine that is as yet, unfinished? An open bottle of wine starts to loose its edge, its crispness shortly after its been opened. A wine exposed to air will, in time, turn to vinegar. Depending on how much wine remains in bottle the more the better I wouldnt recommend that you hang on to it any longer than 3 to 4 days. Any wine should have as much of the air trapped between the wine and the cork pumped out as soon as possible. There are several tools available in the market that will facilitate removing most of the air. Whites and ross are best kept in the fridge and consumed chilled
