An accommodation approval letter is valid for two (2) years. Can an individual extend this time period, and if so, what is the procedure for doing so?
Yes, the approval time period can be extended shortly before or after the initial two-year period has ended. To do so, the candidate should submit a letter to our office requesting an extension, along with a copy of the first approval letter. A new letter that reflects the extended new two-year approval period will be prepared and sent to both the candidate and Chief Examiner.
