Amir Khan:Does anyone agree with me that Khan will get a good pasting from Marco Antonio Barrera.?
Here is the way I see it: Marco Antonio Barrera: Age: 35 Height: 5′ 6″ Reach: 70″ Record: 64 W (43 by KO), 6 L (1 by KO), and a 60% KO ratio Most Recent Fight: November 2008, won by TKO in 4 rounds Amir Khan Age: 22 Height: 5’11” Record: 19 W (15 by KO), 1 L (1 by KO), and a 75% KO ratio Most Recent Fight: December 2008, won by TKO in 2 rounds On paper, it looks as if the British star has a clear advantage in both age and height. The Mexican legend, on the other hand, has a clear advantage in experience. Aside from this, however, we know that Marco has been in wars with greats such as Erik Morales, Manny Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez, and others and has proved that he can take it with the best of them. Amir, on the other hand, has faced only limited competition and has been made to look bad by C level fighters or fighters that have yet to prove themselves. How will this play out? i would like to see barrera win, he is a legend.against morales ,probably one of the best fights ive ever watched.if he still has the fire in him he will teach khan a lesson and beat him.I think this is a clever move by khans team,if he wins then he has beaten 1 of the biggest names in boxing ,if he loses, his team will say he lost to a world class fighter and his reputation will not be harmed.where as if he lost his next fight to a nobody he’s finished.i would not like to see barrera’s career end with a loss against a fighter like khan.
