I disagree with the ruling of the Supreme Court and people will die because of it. I hope those justices don’t mind having blood on their hands. Detainees were released not long ago and what happened? Not long afterwards, they were out committing suicide bombings. First, these people are not held indefinitely. They are only held until the end of the war. We detain and hold them because we don’t want them on the battle feild or anywhere that they can cause more trouble. At the end of the war they are tried and sentenced or let go. This is how it has worked in past wars. I am an American who believes in the founding priniciples of this nation, but I realize that the rights we grant to citizens do not extend to non-citizens. Hell, even citizen of this country who are placed in prison lose rights. It’s no wonder so many Americans feel like second class citizens in their own country.
