AMCOR 3990 GPS – Why does the volume button navigate me through different screens and also change the volume settings?
The volume control on the side of your unit has a dual functionality where the you can raise or lower the volume stteing and also navigate from screen to screen. If you click the volume button up/down, it will navigate you through various screens, but if you click it a certain amount of times, you will be brought back to the original route/navigation screen. In order to change the volume, you must hold the control up or down depending on if you would like to raise or lower the volume. Another way to control the volume setting would be within the softare of the unit. To control your volume setting, please locate the settings icon on the “Navigation Menu”… you should be prompted to the next screen where you will find the “sound” icon, press that….the next screen will have a master volume control that allows you to click and drag the volume setting to you preference.
