Am thinking of buying a tablet screen laptop – any recommendations or defintite no-nos?

I purchased a re-conditioned Fujitsu Stylistic slate and I love it. Excellent digitizer and good clean slate applications. I bought it via Ebay, from a company that does reconditioning for a living. This was an opportunity to try one at a low price before buying a new one. It was also about the only way to get WinXP rather than Vista. My thoughts: it will depend on what you mean by drawing. The screen is smaller than most laptops.Unless you get a fairly recent slate, with a digitizer which monitors the force of your pen, you will find that there is essentially only one line weight. A slate has two buttons – there is no third button, there is no mouse wheel. XP had a good sketching application and there are other applications available.
