Direct flights aren’t always the cheapest! Direct flights without any stopovers may cost more than a flight with in between stops at their hubs. Check with the airlines websites to find the price that the discounters have to beat! Without knowing what the airlines are charging you won’t know if the good deal you think you are getting is a real good deal! Some airlines offer last minute special low prices but you have to check often if you have the time. Also check a few days before and after your preferred departure date, sometimes moving up or back your departure ends up with a cheaper flight! When you get your flight make sure you choose your seats ahead of time to avoid getting some of the lousier seats they assign you at the airport! Good luck.
