Am I the only one who thinks PETA can get their crap straight?
PETA is an extremist group, in my opinion. There is a difference between animal welfare (anti-cruelty) and animal rights (animals have the same rights as humans). Sorry PETA, but I happen to occupy a spot on the food chain that lets me eat other animals, just like other carnivores and omnivores. We are a part of the natural world, after all.
The further you stay away from PETA the better. I find that they are a bunch of hypocrites. I’ve talked with many PETA members and found that the members I talked with believe in evolution. Humans grow a top and bottom row of teeth. Some teeth are made for grinding and chewing, while others are made for ripping and tearing (bicuspids). These “fangs” are designed through evolution for ripping into meat. If we were meant to be omnivores, then we would only have a top row of teeth similar to cattle or horses. And that top row of teeth would also be flat and dull. Seems a little hypocritical to me, beliveing in evolution, but denying that humans were ment to eat meat. By the way, PETA stands for People Eating Tasty Animals.
