Am I the only one who only has major car trouble with the chevy Venture?
Am I the only one who only has major car trouble with the Chevy Venture I have had so much trouble with this for ever ..some small some not so small but they keep coming.. A: I personally havent owned a venture. BUt someone I work with does and he said it has been the worst vehicle he has ever owned. He bought it brand new and has had more problems with that one vehicle than he has had with his last 3 together. The most expensive one was the intake gasket. It is a known problem by GM and depending on the year and engine code do some digging around they will pay to have that problem fixed. I saw the letter but cant remember which year or which engine code. So if you have to or already did have the intake gasket replaced do some digging around to see if your car qualifies. http://www.autosafety.org/uploads/SB-10001282-8175.pdf . That is just the bulletin that the dealerships got. Another site is a law suit brought on by gm owners.
