Am I the only one who hates that 5 questions every 15 minutes rule?
I think it’s largely unnecessary. I can understand that it does serve a purpose in that it keeps one person’s questions from filling the homepage and discourages spamming, but if you ask me, that could probably be done more efficiently and with less imposition on users who, like myself, actually *Do* come up with more than 5 valid questions in the space of 15 minutes at times, but simply configuring things so that the every question after number six in that 15 minute period just gets automatically delegated to the main pool of Q&A without a tenure on the homepage. That way, if a question that goes over the limit is actually a good one, chances are that people skimming through the mass-pool of questions will answer it soon enough, and it will end up on the homepage anyway. Whereas if the question is inane and pointless, no one will answer it, and won’t.
