Am I the only one who felt that LAST TANGO IN PARIS was boring and just kinda weird?

I was just a kid when it came out and I remember the “X” rating and the scandal. I bought the DVD recently and thought the sex scenes were really just nothing at all. Ok, some of the dialogue was pretty “open” for the time and the scene where Brando tells the girl to put her fingers up his ass did raise my eyebrows somewhat, but I guess back in 1972 that was a big deal.
