Am I the olny one that hasn had any problems with Vista?
I had problems with Vista up until the time of the release of Service Pack 1. Since SP1 I find Vista to be a well behaved OS. It is still a resource hog and some drivers from third party vendors need improvement. I am testing the Windows 7 Release Candidate on a laptop at the present time and so far I find it to be a good OS. Pre-ordering a copy is only $50.00 until July 11, 2009. I think it is worth taking a gamble for that price. I think Microsoft learned a valuable lesson with Vista (as it did with Windows ME which led to XP). Just for kicks, compare the current retail prices for XP and Vista. You pay a premium for buying XP.
