Am I required to remit child support payments via Electronic Funds Transfer EFT?
You are required to comply with the employer mandate for electronic remittance of income withholding orders (IWO) if your company meets the criteria outlined in OAR 137-055-5035. Any business may remit child support payments electronically. If you do not have employees with child support withholding orders, you will not need to register. However, upon receipt of a withholding order if your company meets the criteria, you will need to sign up for EFT.
