When you are registered with CIB as either Chief Executive or Technical Representative of our Member, you are required to fulfil the CPD requirement by the end of each calendar year before you are able to renew the registration. If you have previously been registered as insurance intermediaries in Hong Kong during the year, those periods of registration will be taken into account in assessing the number of CPD Hours required. • Whether my previous registration with IARB or PIBA in this year matters? Top Yes. Period of previous registration as insurance intermediaries in IARB or PIBA will be taken into account as if being registered with CIB when deciding the requisite CPD Hours in the relevant year. The CPD Hours earned during those periods will also be recognized. • How many CPD Hours should I earn this year? Top 10 CPD Hours are required for each calendar year.
