Am i really unfit and fat ?
I think your main problem is lack of muscle mass as although the body fat is on the high side, your weight is not. You need to start doing strength training and eating plenty of protein in your diet. Hope this helps. P.S. And don’t worry, I used to be 30% body fat at 130lb and got down to 24% body fat at 125lb through working out and eating right. It can be done, just stay motivated. Don’t ever eat less than your BMR and don’t overdo the cardio otherwise you will just lose more muscle and make the problem worse.
No, you’re certainly not fat. Regardless of the body fat level in my opinion. Your fitness level can improve. I am currently quite chunky, but I am up to an hour on the elliptical. I think that’s great. Now I am moving to weights. SO, work on improving your time walking or on a low impact thing like the elliptical machines and then go to running.
Running 10mins won’t have any effect. You need to sustain an increased heart rate for AT LEAST 20mins. At least 30mins ideally. I know you’ve had issues with weight etc. in the past because I’ve seen your previous questions. Don’t be hard on yourself. Join a gym and there’s loads of machines you can use there. If you started off just spending 10mins on each one of those, you’d be in there for a lot longer and would solve the problem twice as fast. When I first started exercising my body fat was around the 30% mark. By running an hour at least 4x a week, it’s now down at 20%. You need to be prepared to wait though. You won’t get results instantly, it too a good six months for me to do that. Remember: You only get out what you put in.
Keep doing cardio. 30% body fat is extremely unhealthy and that is why you feel ill when you run. You need to start out walking then start to jog. If you start out running you will wear yourself out in 5 minutes and then just become exhausted. Plus, you need to eat more salads and less starchy foods. Eat grilled chicken whenever you can! No more Burger King or Mcd’s because one cheesburger is equal to a lump of lard bigger than your fist. Stop drinking soda unless its like once a week. I had to do these things because I am overweight by 30 lbs and its exhausting. Also, try to get to the gym if you are able and use the elliptical, this machine does wonders for your body! And you lose weight quick.
