Am I morally wrong for working in McDonalds?

It really depends on your convictions. I don’t believe cigarettes and alcohol are healthy and I would never buy them for anyone, but if I worked in a supermarket, I don’t believe I would be contributing to people’s nasty habits just because the supermarket sells cigaretts and alcohol. But of course I would never want to work at a liquor store. A supermarket primarily sells food, which we all need. If the supermarket decides to sell liquor and cigarettes, then I would not feel that I am doing anything wrong by working there. I think porn is morally wrong, and I would never want to work at a porn shop. But there are supermarkets that sell playboy magazines. I would not stop working their just because of that because this wouldn’t be the supermarket’s primary product. But this is my own conviction. I know there a vegetarians who cook meat for their families even though they would never eat it. But it depends on your own convictions.
