Well, rapid weight loss can be dangerous, but it doesn’t sound like this is the situation for you. It can easily be explained by the way you’ve drastically increased your daily activity and improved your diet. People who’ve never seriously dieted before don’t have as much of a slow metabolism issue; yo-yo dieters do (people who’ve been on several diets over the years have a harder time losing weight every time they try). I would encourage you not to obssess about it. Just try to be healthy and not overdo it. Good luck.
