Am i having a seizure?

0

I’m so sorry you’re going through this, it must be so scary. I have nocturnal epilepsy and also regularly suffer from sleep paralysis. My seizures happen while i’m asleep. I don’t remember the actual seizure, I have problems coming round from them-extreme confusion, unable to move, much like you’re describing. So it’s possible you could have just had a seizure and you’re coming round from one. This is called the Postictal stage, there is good information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postictal_state So like I said, possibly you’ve had one. A common occurance in seizures is wetting yourself, that’s a major sign you’ve probably had one. You really need to get it checked. If it is a form of epilepsy there’s treatment available and you shouldn’t suffer alone. When I suffer sleep paralysis I also ‘make my body jump’. Usually by jerking my back, so again it sounds familiar. The anxiety and panic also need checking out or this can get worse with panic and anxiety attacks. Maybe it’s all
