Am i entitled to compensation or fees back from my bank?

No you won’t be entitled to anything, it is your job to make sure the bank has your current address, even when abroad. All your bank had to do was provide you with a letter giving you notice that your overdraft was changing, this is usually 28 days notice. You didn’t give the bank your new address so they could tell you this so you are responsible for not making other arrangements to pay back any money you owed when it was due. How can you blame the bank when they gave you notice that they were changing your overdraft just you didn’t provide them with the details by law your suppose to give for them to tell you before you were charged?? The charges were your fault, there for your not entitled to anything! Charges are unfair when someone goes £3 overdrawn but gets stuck with a £30 fine, that is unfair. Not given your bank your CURRENT address is your own fault!
