Am I entitled to a cash refund on a Mamas and Papas gift card?
If the item was purchased using a gift card, the store is under no obligation to give a refund in cash – credit card purchases are the same – the refund is given as a credit to the card. . That’s why your receipt is marked that it was purchased using a gift card. Don’t be blind-sighted by the product quality issue. The poor quality of the item does not entitle you to cash, it entitles you to be placed in the same position as you were had you not bought it – i.e a gift card to the same value.
