1. Your post-secondary educational qualifications will be assessed against the educational level requirements of your nominated occupation. They will take into consideration the following: • the education system of the country where qualifications were obtained • the awarding institution • the level, structure, length and content of the program of study undertaken. If you have bare passes from an institution considered to be of a low standard, you are unlikely to receive a positive skill assessment. 2. Until 31st December, your work experience is not taken into account. From 31st December 2009, you must also show at least one year of relevant employment for all occupations. For some occupations, if your qualification has a shortfall in content relevance (i.e. is not highly relevant to your nominated occupation) either one or two additional years of employment is required 3.
