Am I eligible for a Disabled Persons Railcard?
You are eligible for a Disabled Persons Railcard if you meet one or more of the criteria listed below: • Are registered as having a visual impairment. • Are registered deaf or use a hearing aid. • Have epilepsy and either: have repeated attacks even though you receive drug treatment or are currently prohibited from driving because of your epilepsy. • Receive Attendance Allowance. • Receive Disability Living Allowance at either: the higher rate or lower rate for getting around (mobility) for one year or longer or the higher or middle rate for help with personal care. • Receive Severe Disablement Allowance. • Receive War Pensioner’s Mobility Supplement. • Receive War or Service Disablement Pension for 80% or more disability. • Receive Long Term Incapacity Benefit. • Are buying or leasing a vehicle through the mobility scheme.
